1. Agreement to Terms

UpMentored provides mentorship discovery, matching support, communication tools, goal tracking, check-ins, and educational resources. Features may evolve over time, and availability may vary by platform.

Use the Service for harassment, abuse, discrimination, threats, or unlawful activity.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, experience, or credentials.
Attempt to interfere with system integrity, security, or availability.

5. Mentorship Conduct and Safety

Mentorship interactions are user-driven. You are responsible for your decisions and communications.
UpMentored may moderate, investigate, suspend, or remove accounts to protect user safety and platform integrity.
If you believe there is harmful or abusive behavior, contact us promptly.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (for example: profile information, messages, goals, and check-ins). You grant UpMentored a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, and process this content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

UpMentored and its licensors own the Service, including software, design, branding, and content (excluding user content). Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, modify, or distribute Service materials without permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party tools and providers (for example: social login providers, notifications, analytics, and cloud hosting). Your use of third-party services may be subject to their terms and policies.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect users, legal compliance, or Service integrity.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
